Semolina pudding with orange sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 untreated oranges
  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 60 g Semolina
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 TEASPOON Cornstarch
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm

Directions

    Wash the oranges in hot water. Grate the peel of 1/2 orange. Put milk, grated orange peel, 30 g sugar and salt in a pot and bring to the boil. Add semolina while stirring, bring to the boil and let it swell at low heat.

    Whisk the egg and stir in 2 tablespoons of semolina porridge. Stir the egg mixture into the remaining semolina. Spread the semolina pudding on bowls and let it cool down. Squeeze oranges. Bring orange juice and remaining sugar to the boil in a saucepan.

    Stir cornflour and a little cold water until smooth and add to the orange juice while stirring. Bring to the boil again. Spread orange sauce over the semolina pudding and serve decorated with lemon balm.
