Scandinavian cheese bread

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Radishes
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 1 Orange
  • 4 thick large slices of Havarti cheese (or Tilsiter)
  • 4 discs Rye mixed bread
  • 30 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Crème-fraîche
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS grated horseradish (from the jar)
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful pepper

Directions

    Clean, wash and drain the radishes and salad. Cut the radishes in half. Peel the orange so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut the orange into 8 slices.

    Quarter cheese slices diagonally. Spread the bread slices with fat and cover with salad, cheese and orange slices. Mix cream-fraîche and horseradish and spread as a blob on the cheese slices. Garnish with radish halves and serve sprinkled with pepper
