Savoy cabbage pot with mince

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 Wirsing (approx. 750 g)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 500 g mixed mince
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 1/2-1 TEASPOON chili powder or
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp some caraway seeds
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Kidney Beans
  • 1 glass (370 ml) pickled sweet-and-sour pumpkin
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the savoy cabbage into pieces. Peel and chop the onion

    Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot. Fry the minced meat for about 10 minutes until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Take out

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in hot frying fat. Fry the onion and savoy cabbage in it. Season with chilli, salt, pepper and possibly caraway seeds

    Drain the beans and pumpkin. With minced meat and 1 l water add to the savoy cabbage. Bring everything to the boil, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley

    Instead of pickled pumpkin, the savoy cabbage pot also tastes good with potatoes. Dice the potatoes and fry them together with the cabbage. The piquant savoy cabbage pot is also ideal as a fiery midnight soup
