Sage and tomato sauce with calf's liver

Ingredients

Servings: 3
  • 50 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 200 g Calf's liver
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 2-3 Sage leaves
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 500 g chunky tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice

Directions

    Dice the bacon and fry in the oil. Peel, chop and add the onion. Cut liver into cubes and fry for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, take out. Wash sage, chop finely, fry briefly. Dice tomatoes. Add chunky tomatoes, simmer for about 10 minutes. Add liver. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon
