Linguine with tuna sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 400 g Noodles (linguine)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 2 Turkish peppers (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 1 package (500 g) chunky tomatoes
  • 100 g black olives
  • 1 TABLESPOON Instant vegetable stock
  • 1 can(s) (210 ml) Tuna in own juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 3 Stem(s) Parsley
  • 30 g grated parmesan cheese

Directions

    Put the pasta in boiling salted water and cook for 10 minutes. Peel onion and garlic and dice finely. Wash and clean the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes. Cut off the paprika lid and remove the seeds.

    Wash the pods and cut into rings. Carve the chilli pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds. Dice pods very finely. Heat oil in a pot. Fry onions and garlic. Add chunky tomatoes, diced tomatoes, paprika, chilli and olives.

    Add stock, bring to the boil and boil down for 5 minutes. Drain tuna, pluck into pieces and add to the tomato sauce. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and sugar. Wash parsley, dab dry, except for something to garnish, chop finely.

    Pour the pasta onto a sieve and drain. Arrange the pasta with the tuna and tomato sauce on plates. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley and serve.
