Wash and halve the apple and remove the core. Cut apple into small cubes. Heat oil in a pan. Add diced ham and fry until crispy. Take out and drain on kitchen paper.
Put the apple cubes into the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes until translucent, drain on kitchen paper, let cool. Mix lard, fried onions and apple cubes and season with salt and pepper. Wash the chives, dab dry and cut into small rolls, except for a little to garnish.
Stir half into the lard. Spread the lard on slices of bread and sprinkle with the remaining chives and garnish.
