Red fruit jelly with vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 1 glass (720 ml; drained weight 460 g) Morello cherries
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cornstarch
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 2 packages (300 g each) deep-frozen multicoloured berry plate
  • 2 packages Sauce powder "Vanilla flavor
  • 1 l Milk
  • 2 (150 g each) Mug of whole milk yoghurt

Directions

    Wash and clean the strawberries and, depending on size, cut them in half or quarters. Drain the cherries. Collect the juice. Stir cornflour and 3 tablespoons of cherry juice until smooth. Wash lemon, peel peel thinly, halve fruit, squeeze juice and add both with cinnamon stick and 75 g sugar to the remaining cherry juice and bring to the boil.

    Add berry cocktail, cherries and strawberries and bring to the boil once. Stir in cornstarch, bring to the boil again. Remove lemon peel and cinnamon stick. Pour the groats into a bowl and let them cool down.

    Stir the remaining sugar, sauce powder and 8 tablespoons of cold milk until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to the boil and stir in the whisked sauce powder. Bring to the boil while stirring. Allow to cool slightly and add the yoghurt.
