Select raspberries and currants. Wash and drain the strawberries, currants and cherries. Clean the strawberries, remove the currants from the stalks and stone the cherries. Mix starch and 6 tablespoons of juice. Mix fruit, sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon peel.
Add the rest of the juice and bring to the boil. Stir in the starch and let it swell for about 5 minutes at low heat while stirring. Leave to cool and remove lemon peel. Whip cream until semi-stiff and serve with the groats. Decorate with biscuits as desired
