Red berry jam

Ingredients

  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp about 150 g each of red currants and red gooseberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated peel of 1 organic orange
  • 1 package (500 g) Gelling cane sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Vodka or gin

Directions

    Wash, clean and drain all berries well. Weigh 250 g strawberries, dice finely. Strip the currants from the stems. Weigh 250 g of currants and gooseberries together.

    Mix balanced berries, orange peel and jam sugar in a pot. Bring to the boil while stirring constantly and boil for about 4 minutes until bubbly. Remove from the stove. Stir in vodka.

    Skim off the jam and pour into prepared twist-off jars. Seal immediately. Place the jars on the lid for about 5 minutes. Then turn them over and let them cool down.
