Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 150 g Rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, sugar, sweet paprika, cumin, pepper
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • 50 g Ginger
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Lime juice
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 600 g minced beef
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 75 g Iceberg lettuce
  • 50 g Cheddar (piece)

Directions

    Cook the rice in 300 ml boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. For the salsa, wash the tomatoes and chop them coarsely. Remove seeds from chillies, wash and chop. Peel ginger, grate finely. 1⁄3 Mix with tomatoes and chili. Season with lime juice, soy sauce and sugar.

    Fry the minced meat in oil until crumbly. Peel garlic and chop finely. With the rest of the ginger, add 1 tbsp. paprika and 1 tsp. cumin.

    Season with salt and pepper. Add 150 ml water and bring to the boil once. Clean and wash the salad and cut into fine strips. Grate cheese roughly. Arrange rice, minced meat, lettuce and cheese in bowls, add the salsa.
