Quick summer hack steaks

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 600 g small tomatoes
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 1/2 (30 g) Bag of onion soup gourmet style (yields 375 ml)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 Pot of basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Java peppercorn
  • 7-10 Tbsp Rosemary

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes, dab dry and cut in half. Heat olive oil in a large pan and place the tomatoes with the cut surface in the hot oil. Peel onions and garlic. Chop the onions roughly, chop the garlic. Sprinkle onions and garlic over the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cover and stew for 10-12 minutes.

    Knead minced meat, soup powder and a little pepper and form flat minced steaks. Heat oil in a pan and fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes, turning them over. Wash the basil, dab dry and cut into strips, except for a little bit for garnishing. Sprinkle over the tomatoes. Sprinkle the finished steaks with coarse coloured pepper and serve garnished with fresh herbs. Serve with fresh baguette
