Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1.6 kg red and yellow prayers
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 6 Stem/s Parsley
  • 60 g Walnut kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 180 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Line baking tray with aluminium foil.

  2. 2

Pray possibly peel, wash. Red prayers cut into six, yellow ones into half. Distribute all with laurel on the tray. Drizzle with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Cover the baking tray with aluminium foil, close it tightly.

  3. 3

Bake in a hot oven for about 30 minutes. In the meantime wash parsley, shake dry and pluck. Chop leaves and walnuts and mix. Sprinkle over the baked prayers.

  4. 4

The oven vegetables taste great as a main course, e.g. with mashed potatoes or bread and dips like sour cream or hummus. As a side dish, prepare only half the amount and serve with poultry, steaks, chops or fish fillets.
