Prawns in bacon coat

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 12-16 cooked shrimps without head and shell (approx. 150 g; fresh or frozen)
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Lemons
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 6-8 thin slices of bacon coarse pepper (breakfast bacon)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Defrost the frozen shrimps. Peel garlic and chop finely. Wash the untreated lemon hot, dab dry and cut into thin slices. Squeeze the rest of the lemon. Mix lemon juice, garlic and 1 tbsp. oil

    If necessary, wash the shrimps, cut lengthwise at the back and pull out the black intestine. Add the prawns to the marinade. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Remove and pat dry. Halve the bacon and wrap around the prawns

    Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan. Fry the prawns for 2-3 minutes, turning several times. Season with coarse pepper. Arrange on lemon slices and garnish with mint. Goes well with baguette

    For deep-frozen shrimps, it is best to use individually frosted
