Ingredients

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1/2 red, yellow and green peppers
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 baby onion
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Gyros spice salt
  • 3-4 Stem(s) Thyme
  • 50 g black olives
  • 200 g Sheep's cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chilli pepper and herbs

Directions

    Scrape off" and wash the potatoes with a peeling knife. Then quarter them. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the potatoes for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally. In the meantime clean the peppers and cut them lengthwise into fine strips. Peel garlic and chop finely. Peel onion, cut approx. 2/3 into fine strips. Add onion strips, paprika and garlic to the potatoes about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.

    Season with salt, pepper and gyros spice. Meanwhile wash thyme, dab dry and pluck leaves from the stems. Add the thyme and olives to the potatoes about 3 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Chop the rest of the onion coarsely. Crumble the feta cheese and sprinkle it over the pan with the diced onion and serve. Garnish with chilli pepper and herbs
