Pork chops with gruyère crust

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 800 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Pork chops (about 180 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 200 g Gruyère cheese
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 300 g frozen green beans

Directions

    Peel, wash and halve the potatoes and cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, wash the chops, dab dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the chops in it for about 5 minutes on each side. In the meantime, grate the cheese. Cut the ham into medium-sized cubes. Stir cheese, ham and egg until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

    Peel and finely dice onion. Remove the chops, spread the cheese mixture on top and bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes. In the meantime, heat the remaining oil in a pan, sauté the onion in it, add the beans and stew covered for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the potatoes. Arrange chops with potatoes and beans on plates
