Directions

  1. 1

Mix pudding powder with 3 tablespoons of sugar. Stir with 100 ml milk until smooth. Bring 400 ml milk to the boil, remove from heat. Stir in the pudding powder and let it simmer for at least 1 minute while stirring. Pour into a bowl, cover directly with foil and set aside. Melt 50 g butter in a saucepan, remove from heat and add 250 ml cold milk. Stir yeast with 25 g sugar until liquid.

Put 450 g flour, salt, egg, 25 g sugar and vanillin sugar in a bowl. Add yeast and milk-butter mixture. Knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Melt 125 g butter in a pot. Mix 200 g flour, 100 g sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Add hot butter and knead into crumbles first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, then with your hands. Set aside. Drain plums well. Stir the pudding until smooth. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Knead yeast dough once more and divide into 12 pieces. Roll out each piece on a floured work surface until round (10 cm Ø).

  3. 3

Set aside. Drain plums well. Stir the pudding until smooth. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Knead yeast dough once more and divide into 12 pieces. Roll out each piece on a floured work surface until round (10 cm Ø). Place 6 thalers on each baking tray. Stir the pudding until smooth. Spread on the talers and spread. Spread plums on top and sprinkle with crumbles. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 15-25 minutes. Let them cool down. Whipped cream tastes good with it
