Piquant yeast snails with ham

Ingredients

  • 500 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 50 g Butter
  • 225 ml Milk
  • 1 cube (42 g) Yeast
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 150 g Ham nuggetz (extra savoury)
  • 150 g Gouda cheese
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Olive oil

Directions

    Mix flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Melt butter, add milk and warm it up lukewarm. Crumble yeast into it and dissolve it. Knead yeast milk, egg and flour with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.

    Clean and wash spring onions and cut into fine rings. Mix spring onions with ham nuggets. Grate cheese. Knead yeast dough again briefly, cut in half and roll out to 2 rectangles (25 x 30 cm) on a floured work surface. Spread each dough sheet with 2 tablespoons of oil. Spread ham mixture and cheese on top. Roll up both rolls from the short side. Cut each roll into 9 slices. Place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper.
