Ingredients

  • 50 g Walnut kernels
  • 225 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 25 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 125 g Butter or margarine
  • 60 g Pine nuts
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Finely grind the walnuts in the universal chopper. Put flour, salt, vanilla sugar, sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, nuts, egg and fat in flakes into a mixing bowl and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Then knead again briefly with your hands and cover the dough and let it cool for about 30 minutes. Then roll out the dough thinly on a lightly floured work surface. Cut out trees with fir tree cutters of different sizes and place them on two baking trays lined with baking paper.

    Place the pine nuts on the trees and press down carefully. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven, place on a rack and allow to cool. Then dust with icing sugar
