Ingredients

  • 1 Baking mix (500 g) "Butter shortbread
  • 150 g soft butter
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 2 TEASPOONS ground pimento
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Currant Jelly
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Put the basic mixture into a mixing bowl, add butter, eggs and pimento. Work into a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Roll out to a thickness of approx. 3 mm on a lightly floured work surface and cut out approx. 50 flowers (approx. 5 cm Ø).

    Cut half of it into rings with a small heart or star shape. Knead the rest of the dough again and cut out. Place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) one after the other for 10-12 minutes.

    Warm the jelly. Spread whole biscuits with it, place rings on top and dust with icing sugar.
