Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes, rinse with cold water and drain. In the meantime cut gherkins into thin slices. Clean and wash spring onions and cut into rings. Drain silver onions. Wash, quarter, core and remove apples. Dice the flesh finely and sprinkle with lemon juice. Wash the dill and pluck flags from the stems.
