Wash the meat, dab dry with kitchen paper and cut into thin strips. Peel and roughly dice the onions. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into strips. Heat oil in a pan, add meat and fry vigorously all around, turning. Add onions and bell peppers, fry briefly, add stock and braise over medium heat for about 8 minutes, turning.
Season with salt and pepper. Stir in crème fraîche and pesto (except for a little to garnish). Heat and season again with salt and pepper. Serve on a platter garnished with some crème fraîche, pesto and basil
