Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 350 g TK-Frutti-di-mare (seafood mix)
  • 400 g Frozen mussels with shell
  • 1 (approx. 600 g; with skin and bones) Chicken breast
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 500 g Fish fillet (e.g. hake)
  • 2 red peppers
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 2 tins (0.1 g each) Saffron threads
  • 1 glass (400 ml) Fish stock
  • 175 ml Orange juice
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) cherry tomatoes
  • 250 g Paella rice
  • 4 Stem(s) Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Defrost Frutti di Mare and mussels. Prepare chicken breast and fry in oil. In the meantime, wash the fish, dab dry and cut into large cubes. Clean and wash the peppers and cut them into rings.

    Peel and finely dice onion and garlic.

    Season the meat with salt and pepper and take it out. Sauté fish in hot frying fat, season and remove. Sauté the bell pepper, onion and garlic in the hot frying fat.

    Add saffron, stock, orange juice, tomatoes and juice, salt, pepper and rice, place meat on top. Bring to the boil and cook over medium to low heat for about 10 minutes - do not stir!

    Place the frutti di mare, mussels and fish on the paella and press a little into the rice. Finish cooking according to the instructions on the packet. Then cover and cook again for about 5 minutes. Wash parsley, shake dry and chop coarsely.

    Serve paella sprinkled with parsley.
