Knead flour, sugar, vanillin sugar, fat and egg until smooth. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Knead 80 g finely chopped candied orange peel into the dough, form into a long roll and cut into 35 slices. Form each slice into a thin roll about 20 cm long, turn into a pretzel and place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper.
Brush the pretzel with slightly beaten egg white. Sprinkle with sugar crystals and the rest of the roughly chopped candied orange peel. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 12-15 minutes. Results in approx. 35 pieces
