Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 125 g Butter
  • 100 g demerara sugar
  • 100 g dark beet syrup
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 50 g Wheat wholemeal flour
  • 50 g ground almond (with skin)
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 1 go. Tsp gingerbread spice
  • 1 package Citro Back
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 75 g dark chocolate coating
  • 75 g Icing sugar
  • 3-4 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 small freezer bag

Directions

  1. 1

Cream butter, sugar, syrup and egg. Mix both types of flour, ground almonds, baking powder, gingerbread spice and citro-back. Add everything to the sugar mixture and knead to a smooth dough.

  2. 2

Sprinkle almond flakes onto a floured work surface. Roll out the dough thinly. Cut out stars, fir trees and moons as desired (results in about 80 cookies). Place the cookies on three baking trays lined with baking paper.

  3. 3

Bake one after the other in the preheated oven (electric oven 200 ° C/ gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes. Take out the cookies and let them cool down on a cake rack. Melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath and fill into a freezer bag.

  4. 4

Cut off a small tip and decorate about 30 biscuits with it. Stir icing sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Decorate another 30 biscuits with it. Makes about 80 pieces.
