Orange and thyme syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Sugar
  • 6 Stem/s Thyme
  • 1 kg Organic oranges
  • 7-10 Tbsp Bottle

Directions

    Bring sugar and 1 l water to the boil and simmer until the sugar is dissolved.

    Wash the thyme and shake dry. Wash the oranges in hot water, dry and cut into slices. Add oranges and thyme to the syrup, bring to the boil again and simmer for about 1 hour at medium heat.

    Pour the syrup through a fine sieve and pour it into a clean, well sealed bottle. This way it will keep in the refrigerator for about 6 months.

    And this is how you make a lemonade: Put some syrup according to taste into six glasses and pour mineral water over it. Sort 100 g blueberries, wash 6 stems of thyme. Pour into the glasses.
