Onion steaks with mint tomatoes

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 400 g cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 5 Stem(s) Mint
  • 4 Steaks de cou de porc déclenchés (environ 175 g chacun)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Sweet peppers
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cumin
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 4 medium-sized onions
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes. Peel garlic and chop very finely. Wash the mint, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks. Dab meat dry.

    Mix flour, paprika and cumin in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Peel onions, cut them into fine rings and turn them in the flour mixture.

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the meat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and wrap in aluminium foil.

    Heat butter in hot frying fat. Fry the onions until golden brown, turning them over. Remove. Fry the tomatoes and garlic briefly in the hot frying fat. Stir in mint. Season with salt and pepper.

    Arrange steaks with onions and tomatoes. Roasted bread tastes good with it.
