Onion shuttle & butter corn

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 1 Vegetable onion (approx. 400 g)
  • 8 discs Breakfast bacon (Bacon)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, some oregano
  • 8 Corn cob, 2 tablespoons butter (tin)
  • 8 wooden skewers

Directions

    Peel onion, cut into 8 slices. Wrap 1 slice of bacon around each slice and fix with wooden skewers. Season with salt, pepper and oregano

    Drain the corncobs. Grill both on the preheated electric grill for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Spread the corn with butter and salt

    If you prefer to use fresh corn on the cob, you must cook it in plenty of boiling water with a little sugar. Drain well, then salt first

    Vegetable onions are ideal for grilling: They cook faster and have a milder taste than normal onions
