Ingredients

  • 1 Bread baking mix (407 g) "Three grain bread" (for 250 ml water)
  • 75 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 75 g Roasted onions
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen paper

Directions

    Knead the contents of the baking mix, yeast (enclosed in the package) and 1/4 l lukewarm water with the dough hooks of the hand mixer at the highest setting for approx. 3 minutes. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for approx. 30 minutes

    Finely dice the bacon and leave it crisp in a pan without fat. Drain a little on kitchen paper and let it cool down

    Knead bacon and onions into the dough. Form the dough into a roll on a little flour and cut it into about 8 equally sized pieces. Form into rolls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper

    Score the bread rolls crosswise with a sharp knife and let them rise covered for another 20 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes. Serve with chives quark
