Noodles with ragout

Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef hip steak
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) small white beans
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried marjoram
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1/2 l clear meat broth (instant)
  • 250 g Noodles (e.g. penne)

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into small cubes. Peel and wash the carrots, cut them in half lengthwise and cut them into pieces. Clean, wash and cut leek into rings. Peel and finely dice onion. Drain the beans on a sieve.

    Heat oil in a pan. Brown the meat in it, season with salt, pepper and marjoram. Add onion and carrots to the meat. Dust with flour. Add tomato paste and stock, bring to the boil and cook for about 15 minutes. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Add leek and beans to the meat about 5 minutes before the end of cooking time. Pour pasta onto a sieve and drain. Arrange noodles and ragout on plates.
