Noodles with honey minced meat sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 150 g Carrot
  • 1 (approx. 200 g) Meat tomato
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 2 TABLESPOONS White wine vinegar
  • 2 TEASPOONS clear honey
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON spicy mustard
  • 2 TEASPOONS Worcester sauce
  • 2 TEASPOONS Instant vegetable stock
  • 250 g ribbon noodles
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 collar Basil
  • 1 TABLESPOON dark sauce thickener
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS grated parmesan cheese

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Clean and peel the carrot. Wash and clean the tomato. Cut both into small cubes. Heat oil, fry mince in it.

    Add onion and garlic and fry briefly. Stir in tomato paste, gradually adding vinegar, honey, sugar, mustard and Worcester sauce. Add 500 ml water, bring to the boil, stir in broth. Add carrot and tomato, cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. Cook pasta in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes. Wash the basil, dab dry, put something aside for garnishing. Cut the rest into fine strips. Stir the sauce thickener into the minced meat sauce, simmer for about 1 minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix in basil.
