New Year's Eve cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 Limes
  • 7-10 Tbsp demerara sugar
  • 160 ml Southern Comfort
  • 160 ml Grenadine
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle of cold sparkling wine to refill

Directions

    Cut a slice from 1 lime. Moisten the edges of the glass with the slice of lime and dip it in the sugar. From the middle of the cut lime, peel off the skin with a peeler to about 0.5 cm all around.

    Roll up the peel and slice the lime with the peel. Halve the remaining lime and squeeze it. Mix Southern Comfort, lime juice and grenadine. Distribute on the glasses. Fill up with sparkling wine.

    Decorate the edges of the glass with the lime slices.
