Wash, stalk and stone the cherries. Simmer cherries, 150 g sugar and 1.5 litres water in a pot for about 30 minutes
Meanwhile, for the Klüterteig, whisk the egg and 50 g sugar until white/creamy using the whisk of the hand mixer. Mix flour and baking powder, stir with the egg mixture
Use a teaspoon to cut off small pieces of the mixture, add to the soup and continue cooking for about 15 minutes. Remove soup from the stove. Serve either warm or chilled
