Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 250 g Pork sausage
  • 1 TEASPOON + some dried thyme
  • 1 TEASPOON Tomato paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 250 g Mozzarella
  • 1 tin(s) (400 g) chilled fresh dough for 8 Sunday bread rolls
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

    Peel onions and cut them into rings. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the ground pork in it until crumbly. Fry the onions and 1 tsp. thyme briefly. Stir in tomato paste and sweat it on. Season to taste with cayenne pepper and salt if necessary.

    Wash the tomatoes. Cut tomatoes and mozzarella into thin slices

    Remove the roll dough from the tin. Press the dough pieces flat on a floured baking tray. Spread tomatoes, ground pork and mozzarella on top. Sprinkle with some thyme. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
