Minute steak with ribbon noodles and cucumber sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Shallots
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 glass (212 ml) Cornichons
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 g Fresh cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 300 g ribbon noodles
  • 8 Pork minute steaks (approx. 80 g each)
  • 2 1/2 TABLESPOONS frozen parsley

Directions

    Peel and chop the shallots. Peel garlic and chop finely. Drain gherkins, dab dry and cut off ends. Cut the gherkins, except for a few for garnishing, half crosswise and half lengthwise into slices.

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan. Sauté the shallots, garlic and cucumbers for about 2 minutes. Add stock and bring to the boil. Crème fraîche

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Wash the meat and dab dry. Prepare pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the meat on both sides for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Stir about 1 1/2 tbsp. parsley into the sauce. Arrange the noodles on plates, put the cutlets on and pour the sauce over the noodles. Add approx. 1 tbsp. parsley and garnish with gherkins.
