Melon cocktail with roasted turkey

Ingredients

  • 250 g Turkey filet
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 (approx. 1.5 kg) small Charentais melon
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 1/2 Head iceberg lettuce
  • 6 Stem(s) Basil
  • 250 g Soured milk (3,5 % fat)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Orange juice
  • 1 TEASPOON Honey

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into cubes. Heat the oil in a coated pan and fry the meat for about 4 minutes until golden brown, seasoning with salt and pepper. Halve melons and remove seeds. Cut out the flesh with a ball cutter. Wash, clean and slice the strawberries. Clean, wash and cut the salad into strips.

    Drain meat on kitchen paper. Wash basil, dab dry, remove coarse stalks. Cut leaves into strips. Mix with soured milk and orange juice and season to taste with salt, pepper and honey. Put everything in a bowl and mix carefully with the dressing. Serve with rustic baguette
