Meatballs in tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • 30 g Rice (e.g. brown rice)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, possibly 1 Msp. turmeric
  • 40 g frozen peas
  • 1 small peeled onion
  • 1 peeled clove of garlic
  • 100 g minced beef
  • 1 tablespoon (20 g) Low-fat curd
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper, sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp (5 g) Oil
  • 3 (150 g) cleaned tomatoes
  • 2-3 black olives
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oregano

Directions

    Cover the rice and let it swell for about 20 minutes in 1/8 l boiling salted water over a low heat. After about 15 minutes add turmeric and frozen peas and continue cooking

    Finely dice onion and garlic. Knead minced meat, curd and half each of onion and garlic. Season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika. From the chopping mass

    Form 3 balls. Heat oil. Balls in it all around

    Fry for 5-6 minutes

    Wash and dice the tomatoes. Add the rest of the onion and garlic to the balls and fry briefly. Add 5-6 tablespoons of water, bring to the boil and add olives. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes

    Season the sauce with salt, pepper and paprika. Serve everything with pea rice. Garnish with oregano

    Minced meat can be loosened with low-fat curd cheese. This is especially ideal for diabetics, as unlike soaked rolls it does not provide any carbohydrates and can be dosed well even in small quantities
