Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 1 pack of (485 g total content) Baking mix for marzipan cake (contains 350 g baking mix,
  • 60 g Marzipan paste,
  • 75 g Fat glaze
  • 150 g Butter or margarine
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 8 balls marbled vanilla-cherry ice cream
  • 1 (125 ml) bottle of dessert cherry sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint leaves and cherries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil

Directions

  1. 1

Cut the raw marzipan paste from the packet into small pieces, place them in a bowl with the soft fat and mix well with the whisks of the hand mixer. Add the baking mix, eggs and cream and mix the mixture for about 3 minutes to a smooth dough. Preheat waffle iron well on medium heat and grease with some oil. For each waffle, add approx. 1 tablespoon of dough to the iron, close the machine, pressing the lid slightly so that the dough spreads. Bake the waffles at medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 2

Bake 16 waffles one after the other and let them cool down individually on a grid. Bring water to the boil in a saucepan, remove from the heat and place the icing bag inside for about 10 minutes. Then cut off a small corner from the bag, sprinkle half of the waffles with the glaze in a grid pattern and leave to dry. Divide some waffles and arrange them on plates with the ice cream and cherry sauce. Garnish with the mint and cherries and serve with the remaining waffles
