Almond shortbread biscuits

Ingredients

  • 125 g soft butter or
  • 7-10 Tbsp Margarine
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 3 drops of bitter almond oil
  • 250 g Flour
  • 75 g crushed almonds
  • 100 g Dark chocolate coating
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar. Add eggs and bitter almond oil. Stir the mixture until creamy. Mix flour and almonds, add to the fat egg mixture and knead. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes. Then fill the dough into a piping bag with a small star nozzle.

    Spray small circles and "S" shapes onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let the cookies cool down on a cake rack. Melt the chocolate coating in a warm water bath. Dip half of each cookie into the chocolate coating and allow to dry. Results in approx. 60 cookies
