  • 1 Tube red, brown and white sugar writing
  • baking paper
  • 1 Mini cooking spoon and
  • 1 Mini dough roll for decorating

Directions

  1. 1

First mix quark, 6 tablespoons milk, oil, sugar, vanillin sugar and 1 pinch of salt. Mix flour and baking powder, add it and knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Halve it and take 13 off each. Shape a large piece into a rectangle (15 x 20 cm) and cut it to the middle. Form from it the body with legs

  2. 2

Now press the 2nd large piece of dough into a rectangle (15 x 15 cm) and form the upper body and skirt. Knead the remaining dough together and form 2 heads, 4 arms, 2 legs and 2 braids. Preheat the oven: Electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2 and lay out a baking tray with baking paper. Put the pieces together to form a man and woman

  3. 3

Separate the egg and whisk the egg whites. Glue the attached parts together at the seams with some egg white and press everything well together. Whisk the egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of milk and brush both figures with it. Press raisins, pistachios and almonds into the figures as eyes, noses, buttons, chain, bow tie and border. Bake them for about 25 minutes and let them cool down

  4. 4

Coarsely grate the marzipan, knead it with 1 tbsp. icing sugar and then roll it out to a rectangle (12 x 16 cm) on some icing sugar. Halve it crosswise and form 2 chef's hats from it. Decorate the mare's wife and boy with sugar writing. Stick the chef's hats onto their heads, press them on a little and let everything dry well. Put in a cooking spoon and a roll of dough
