Ingredients

  • 300 g Macaroni
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 150 g Boiled ham in slices
  • 400 g Broccoli
  • 3 Stem(s) Basil
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 8 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 Tomato
  • 50 g Gouda cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • baking paper

Directions

    Prepare the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Cut cooked ham into strips. Cut broccoli into small florets and blanch in salted water for approx. 3 minutes, drain and rinse with cold water.

    Wash the basil, dab dry and cut the leaves of 1 stalk into thin strips. Mix basil and boiled ham. Mix milk and eggs and season with salt and pepper. Grease the casserole dish and line the bottom with baking paper (if you want to turn the cake over).

    Layer half of the pasta in the casserole dish. Spread a layer of boiled ham and broccoli on each pasta, then add the remaining pasta. Wash the tomato, grate dry and cut into slices.

    Grate cheese. First spread tomato slices, then cheese on the casserole. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 1 1/4 hours. If the surface becomes too dark, cover with aluminium foil.

    Remove the macaroni tart from the oven, sprinkle with pepper and garnish with basil.
