Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 1 pack of (10 pieces; 1000 g) deep-frozen lye sticks; for self-baking, with hail salt for sprinkling
  • 7-10 Tbsp approx. 2 tablespoons each of sunflower seeds, poppy seeds and sesame seeds
  • 100 g dried soft tomatoes
  • 350 g soft butter
  • 60 g Roasted onions
  • 1 TEASPOON Sweet peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt

Directions

    Remove the pretzel sticks from the package and allow to thaw at room temperature. Cut into 5 pieces with a knife. Roll 1/4 of each piece in sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds and the enclosed salt. Spread on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) one after the other for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool off

    Chop the tomatoes finely. Cream butter with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in tomatoes, fried onions and paprika powder briefly. Season to taste with salt. Serve with the lye confectionery
