Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 500 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 250 g Edible quark (20 % fat in dry matter)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin or Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 2 stem(s) Lemon balm to decorate

Directions

  1. 1

Wash lemon hot and dab dry. Peel some lemon peel thinly with a peeler and chop finely. Halve the lemon and squeeze it

  2. 2

Mix yoghurt, quark, sugar, vanillin sugar and lemon zest until smooth. Season to taste with lemon juice. Spread the lemon yoghurt over four dessert bowls. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of honey over each yoghurt. If necessary, wash the lemon balm and remove the leaves. Decorate dessert with it

  3. 3

You can give this dessert a fine note, for example with a fruity orange blossom honey or the particularly mild acacia honey

  4. 4

No problem: 2 or 3 kinds of honey in stock. With proper storage (cool, dry, dark, airtight sealed) it can be kept indefinitely

  5. 5

Crystallized honey becomes liquid again when you warm it up. Great goes's in a warm water bath
