Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Bag of "lemon-flavoured" jelly (for 1/2 l water)
  • 1/4 l apple juice
  • 4-5 Tbsp Sugar
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar and lemon balm

Directions

  1. 1

Mix the jelly powder, 1/4 l water and apple juice in a pot. Let it swell for about 5 minutes. Stir in 3 tbsp. sugar and heat until all is dissolved (or follow package instructions)

  2. 2

Pour the liquid into a flat form and chill, preferably overnight, until the jelly can be turned over

  3. 3

Wash and clean the strawberries and, depending on size, cut them in half or quarters. Mix the strawberries and 1-2 tbsp. sugar and leave to stand briefly

  4. 4

Remove the jelly from the edge of the mould with a sharp knife. Hold the mould briefly in hot water and then turn over

  5. 5

Dice the jelly and arrange on dessert plates with the strawberries. If necessary, dust with a little icing sugar and decorate with lemon balm leaves. Whipped cream or crème fraîche tastes good with it
