Lamb skewers with yoghurt sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 600 g Lamb (from the shoulder)
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oregano
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 500 g Cutting beans
  • 500 g Tomatoes
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 (150 g each) Cup of cream yoghurt

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into large cubes. Peel and grate onions. Mix the meat with half of the grated onions, 3 tablespoons of oil, oregano, salt and pepper, cover and marinate for 1 hour.

    Clean, wash and cut the beans into bite-sized pieces. Carve tomatoes crosswise with a knife, blanch hot and rinse with cold water. Peel skin and cut tomatoes into large cubes.

    Peel garlic and dice finely. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan. Sauté beans, tomatoes and garlic, season with salt and pepper. Add some water and cook covered for 20 minutes.

    Put meat on skewers, place on the grill and grill under the preheated grill for 15 minutes. Turn from time to time. Mix the remaining onions and yoghurt. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Arrange the vegetables with the meat skewers on a plate and serve with the sauce.
