Ingredients

Servings: 70
  • 250 g flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Orange liqueur
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 25 g soft butter/margarine
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 200 g Almond kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Knead flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, liqueur, orange peel, fat in flakes and eggs with the dough hooks of the hand mixer until smooth. Knead the almonds into the mixture. Cover the dough and chill for approx. 30 minutes

    Line baking tray with baking paper. Form the dough on a little flour into approx. 6 rolls (approx. 3 cm Ø). Place on the baking tray with a distance between them. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/recirculating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool down

    Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Cut rolls into approx. 1 cm thick diagonal slices. Place the cut surface on the baking trays. Bake in a hot oven at the same temperature for 8-10 minutes. Let cool down
