Ingredients

Servings: 3
  • 150 g Ginger
  • 3 piece(s) Lime (organic)
  • 1 collar fresh peppermint
  • 1 litre Water
  • 2 litres Glass or bowl
  • 1 kg Sugar

Directions

  1. 1

Peel and chop the ginger, cut the limes into quarters, wash the mint and just pluck it from the stalk. Now boil up water and sugar until the sugar has dissolved and pour the brew over the ingredients. Now three days allow to pull let stir occasionally.

  2. 2

After the three days, put the syrup through a sieve back into a pot and squeeze it out well. Bring everything to the boil again briefly and fill it into vacuum bottles, then the syrup will keep for a good year. Another tip: the ginger can also be more or less to your taste.
