Fruit and nut muesli

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 50 g Almond kernels with skin
  • 50 g liquid honey
  • 25 g Butter
  • 50 g demerara sugar
  • 20 g Amaranth Poppkorn
  • 250 g seedy multigrain flakes
  • 4 ripe kiwis
  • 4 Bananas
  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 750 g Whole milk yoghurt

Directions

    Roughly chop the almonds. Bring honey, butter and sugar to the boil in a medium-sized pot. Add amaranth, almonds and cereal flakes and mix well. Spread the muesli on a fat pan and roast in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 150 °C/ convection oven: 125 °C/ gas: level 1) for 15-20 minutes until light brown, stirring occasionally. Remove the fat pan. Let the muesli cool down while stirring occasionally. Peel and chop the kiwis.

    Peel and slice bananas. Wash, clean and halve (or quarter) the strawberries. Mix the fruits. Divide yoghurt and fruit into small bowls. Add about 40 g muesli to each bowl. If there is any muesli left, pack it airtight and put it in a cool place
