Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 3,5 l Frying oil
  • 1 (approx. 1.1 kg) ready-to-cook fried chicken
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 80 g Flour
  • 120 g Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon and parsley

Directions

  1. 1

Heat the oil in a wide pot to 150 °C. In the meantime, cut the chicken in half, wash and pat dry. Season all around with salt and pepper. Whisk eggs. First turn the chicken halves in flour or dust them. Then turn in egg or rub all around with your hands. Then turn in breadcrumbs, or press the chicken halves together with your hands

  2. 2

Place the chicken halves one after the other in the hot frying oil. Now the oil should have a constant temperature of 125 °C. Fry the chicken halves for approx. 30 minutes, turning 2-3 times. Carefully lift the chicken half out of the frying oil and let it drip off a little. Keep warm in a preheated oven at approx. 100 °C

  3. 3

Heat the oil to 150 °C again. Fry the second half of the chicken in the same way. Arrange both chicken halves in a cloth on a plate garnished with lemon and parsley
