Flat bread pizza with bacon, mushrooms and red onions

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g small mushrooms
  • 3 small, red onions
  • 125 g Breakfast bacon in slices
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 (approx. 450 g) small pita bread
  • 200 g Double cream herb cream cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 7-10 Tbsp possibly chives stalks
  • baking paper

Directions

    Clean and slice the mushrooms. Peel onions and cut into fine rings. Cut bacon into pieces of about 3 cm. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry the bacon for about 4 minutes while turning it.

    Drain on kitchen paper. Fry the mushrooms with 1 tbsp. oil in the hot frying fat for approx. 4 minutes, turning vigorously. Drain on kitchen paper.

    Cut flat bread in half horizontally. Spread both halves evenly with cream cheese. Spread bacon, mushrooms and onions on top, season with salt and pepper. Place the flatbread halves on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake under the hot grill for about 5 minutes.

    In the meantime, wash the chives, shake them dry and cut them into fine rolls. Take pizzas out of the oven, sprinkle with chives and cut into quarters. Arrange on a plate, garnish with chives if necessary.
