Fine berry liqueur

Ingredients

  • 500 g mixed berries
  • 7-10 Tbsp (e.g. raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and currants)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Bowl from
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 1 Cloves
  • 1/2 l Raspberry Spirit
  • 1/2 l dry red wine
  • 300 g white candy

Directions

    Select the berries, wash and drain well. Clean the strawberries, wipe the currants

    Pour the berries, orange peel and clove into a large preserving jar (approx. 1 l capacity). Fill up with raspberry brandy and close. Let stand at room temperature for 6-8 weeks

    Place the berries in a fine sieve (possibly lined with a gauze cloth) and drain. Squeeze the berries gently. Collect liquid

    Simmer red wine and rock candy while stirring for 3-5 minutes until the rock candy has dissolved. Leave to cool. Mix with the berry liquid and possibly pour it again through a fine sieve (possibly with gauze cloth). Pour into clean bottles, close them. Leave to rest for at least 4-6 weeks
